We’re now in September, and Nintendo has rolled out a brand new firmware replace for the Swap 2 and unique Swap.
It is seemingly a small one, with the patch notes mentioning the way it has improved the general “stability”. Listed below are the complete patch notes, courtesy of Nintendo’s official assist web page.
Model 20.4.0 (Launched September 1st, 2025)
“Basic system stability enhancements to reinforce the consumer’s expertise.”
Based on dataminer ‘OatmealDome’, there have been some small changes on the unique Swap as nicely. Here is the rundown:
“Model 20.4.0 was launched. The patch notes lists “stability” as the only real change. On Swap 1, the controller-handling code and the online browser have been up to date.”
If we hear the rest about what’s included on this newest replace, or if there are any backward compatibility fixes, we’ll let . Nintendo has already improved a number of Swap video games on the Swap 2.
