Disney, ABC obtain FCC investigation discover

The Federal Communications Fee has alerted the Walt Disney Firm and its ABC unit that it’s going to start an investigation into the variety, fairness and inclusion efforts on the media large.

The FCC, the company that regulates the media and telecommunications business, mentioned in a letter dated Friday that it desires to “make sure that Disney and ABC haven’t been violating FCC equal employment alternative rules by selling invidious types of DEI discrimination.”

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, who was just lately appointed by President Donald Trump, started the same investigation into Comcast and NBCUniversal in early February.
