Evan Brown background, 2024 season
Brown enters his second season with the Cardinals and eight season general within the NFL. He entered the league in 2018 as a rookie free agent out of SMU with the New York Giants. He didn’t play all season.
From 2019-2020, he frolicked with the Giants, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions, showing in 11 video games, logging 81 snaps, all as a backup.
He turned a starter with the Lions in 2021, beginning 12 video games at middle after which one other 12 in 2023 at proper guard. In 2023, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks and began 16 video games at middle.
Final 12 months, he signed a one-year cope with the Cardinals and moved to left guard, beginning all 17 video games and taking part in 98% of the workforce’s snaps, logging a complete of 1,070.
He was excellent and the Cardinals re-signed him this offseason.
Evan Brown 2025 contract particulars, cap hit
Brown signed a two-year deal to return to the Cardinals value $11.5 million. He acquired a $3 million signing bonus and can make almost $3.2 million in wage in 2025. Of that, $3 million is assured. He acquired a $50,000 roster bonus and might make as much as $255,000 in per-game roster bonuses. He counts $5 million towards the cap.
Questions he faces, roster outlook
Brown is a lock to make the roster and is the unquestioned beginning left guard. He was a pleasing shock final season. The query is whether or not he can repeat that success and construct upon it. He was the workforce’s most constant lineman all season.
