The SEC on Monday introduced kickoff instances and TV broadcast data for its convention schedule in Week 6, together with the Alabama Crimson Tide‘s matchup in opposition to the Vanderbilt Commodores.
Alabama vs. Vanderbilt at Bryant-Denny Stadium will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Oct. 4. The sport will likely be televised on both ABC or ESPN, with official community designation to be finalized after Saturday’s Week 5 slate.
Alabama (2-1 general) is coming off a 38-14 win over the Wisconsin Badgers in Week 3. The Crimson Tide are ranked No. 16 on this week’s US LBM Coaches Ballot.
Vanderbilt (4-0) and sixth-year senior quarterback Diego Pavia defeated Georgia State, 70-21, on Saturday in Nashville. The Commodores are ranked No. 20 within the Coaches Ballot and No. 18 within the AP Prime 25 ballot. The Crimson Tide are ranked No. 17 within the AP ballot.
Alabama fell in a shocking 40-35 loss to Vanderbilt on Oct. 5 final 12 months in Nashville when the Crimson Tide have been briefly ranked No. 1. The loss to Vanderbilt was the Tide’s first to the Commodores since 1984.
Alabama will tackle the Georgia Bulldogs within the SEC opener for each groups this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT at Sanford Stadium. The sport will likely be televised on ABC.
Georgia (3-0) is ranked No. 3 within the Coaches Ballot.
