Former Notre Dame DL making waves for the Cincinnati Bengals in camp

It wasn’t a shock when new Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Al Golden pushed the staff to decide up one in all his former Notre Dame gamers in defensive deal with Howard Cross III.

Golden is aware of precisely what the defender brings to the desk, and whereas he went undrafted, the Bengals shortly made a transfer to signal him. Cross wasn’t assured a spot on the roster as a result of this reality, however he has been enjoying very properly and could be pushing Cincinnati to maintain him round.

Their head coach Zac Taylor not too long ago spoke to the media about Cross, and gave a glowing evaluation. He mentioned that his undrafted rookie defensive deal with “has proven the flexibility to do the issues we’re asking these guys to do. Do the soiled work and do it how we would like it completed.”

It’s fairly protected to say that Golden knew that Cross could possibly be productive at this stage, and them getting an opportunity to reunite must be nice for each of their careers.
